Looks like a beautiful piece! Congrats. If you want more volume you can eliminate the secondary midpipe cats very easily. If you want even more the primary cat in the downpipe will surely uncork the song of your people.

Wow thanks for the feedback. I was looking into this catback at one point for my A3 also 2.0T.
I do know that the turboback system that includes the catback and unitronic downpipe sounds pretty good.
But I'm surprised that the catback doesn't add any kind of sound from the stock A3 catback which is pretty quiet to begin with.
Here is the turboback system below:

I picked up an AWE catback and love it, maybe try and sell yours and pickup a used AWE? Deep throaty noise.

A downpipe is going to really open up any car. Adding a catback to most of these cars, unless unresonated will not add a ton of sound to it. Also note running straight pipes in a sense on a 2.0T can sound bad with lots of drone. So its always a fight between perfect sound without horrible drone in the cabin

Check out the 8V A3 downpipes we have and let us know if you have any questions. happy to help

There is the likely scenario with a downpipe untuned that you will get a CEL. If you get a stage 2 tune from Uni for the ECU (recommend TCU too) it should do away with a CEL as it is geared for an aftermarket downpipe.

Stage 2 tune will get rid of it but note you will most likely not pass inspection on Stage 2.

Wouldn't that be a simple revert to stock tune with the downpipe?

But if revert to stock will still have the check engine on and still won't pass
