    it's not in SF, but 034 motorsports is in Fremont, and they would be hands down the VW/Audi authority in the bay.

    Right on! Pretty extensive list, covers pretty much everything.. surprised about autowerks, I actually was thinking about going there the next time just based on the yelp reviews but better to avoid it sounds like. Thanks man

    Ya I went there because of reviews too and in the end they diagnosed my blown engine completely wrong and said I needed to change the engine when I just needed to change the rod bearings. 4k vs 10k is significant discrepancy.
