    Hi

    I have a 2014 Audi S3 8V

Recently I had been getting this random warning on the dash vehicle electronic malfunction shift to P and visit workshop

The car ran and drove perfectly fine still I continued to drive still

One day the car cut out

Now is showing the same fault plus all electric faults such as

    Hill start fault
    Esc error
    Parking brake fault
    Etc etc

Have taken it into Audi who have advised the ECU is faulty

Any suggestions as the car hasn’t even dne 30K miles and ecu has gone also very rare for ecu to mess up

    Thanks

I had a similar problem. They replaced the ECU and gateway. ~3k for parts that should never fail in my opinion. Since then I've had other electrical issues pop up... Good luck

Yeah. They did the gateway first but there was still issues, new ecu fixed everything.

The service supervisor said he's only ever seen something similar happen when someone jumped there car with the leads backwards. I don't know about you but I can confidently say I did not do that.

    I should mention this is a 15 a3 with 50k miles.

    Hi Sab_s3,

I'm currently having the same issues with my A3 8v 1.8 TFSI quattro, did you manage to get this sorted or figure out what needed to be fixed?

    Best regards
