    Question Steering wheel swap

I know, I know- another steering wheel swap thread.

In my car, I have the grey on grey interior and am looking to do a steering wheel swap in for one with paddles. The trouble is, the two-tone grey is extremely rare on wheels- and that+paddles is even harder to find . I have a heated wheel in mine and its absolutely spoiled me. I wouldn't want to do away with the heat if I can avoid that.

The question is, what can I do?

I cant find any grey wheels with paddles- not to mention heated. Does anyone here have a light grey interior with a black steering wheel? (I may have to go that route if I want paddles and heat, but simple searches haven't turned up many examples.)

Another thought, I know people CAN custom-finish steering wheels, If I were to find the right wheel and proper material (perforated would be a plus as well, but not required) would it be possible for a reasonable price? Finding a grey wheel would be nice, that way I can keep MY airbag and keep costs lower.

    Thoughts?

I think that your stuck with what you have if you want a heated wheel. I’m in the same boat...

I drove a dealer loaner Q5 and man was that steering wheel nice! Heat felt so much stronger than in my car plus the finish of the wheel was more sporty and ergonomic.

Any decent upholstery shop should be able to recover your steering wheel however you want.
