Oil Level Sensor System Fault P0197

Hi everyone, I have a 2015 Audi A3 TDI and the Oil Level Sensor System Fault light keeps appearing on my dashboard. I used OBDElven to get the code and it shows code P0197.

Does anyone know if the oil level sensor on the bottom of the oil pan is also the engine oil temperature sensor too? Or are they separate.

Could it just be faulty sensor?

    Thanks,

Okay thanks, should I assume the EOT sensor is bad and that is why that fault is coming back as P0197?

    Correction!

The G266, item on bottom of oil pan is also the temp sender.

I searched for the part # on ECStuning.com and it told me it does not fit my car model.

Is there anywhere else you would recommend looking?

take a look at the one on your A3.

    Verify same part number.

Or use the part number on yours
