    Value of Stock B5 S4?

I'm trying to decide what a reasonable price is for a good condition 2002 S4 w/ about 100,000 miles on it. KBB, Edmunds, etc seem to value it around 4k. It's listed for $7,500. I know they're pretty rare, so I'm just wondering what the real market value is. It is black, 6 MT, clean Carfax, service records on hand.

I had a 2000 Silver back in 2010 and loved it. Looking for a solid winter car and fun daily driver as a second car to my new Tacoma.

    Thanks!

Depends on color and interior. Cactus, Casa and maybe laser(?) will command a premium.

Black exterior, black interior. Just looking for people's advice based on what they see these sell for. I paid $9,000 for a stock 65k mile silver MT back in 2009.

    How about some pictures?
    Interior condition? Seat bolster condition,
    Dead pixels on dash?
    Belt service? Maintainance history?
    Updated 1&2 trans collars?
Theres a lot of factors to consider

Sorry, I don't have pictures. Just looking for a reasonable range to expect to pay for these types of cars in general these days around 100,000 miles, completely stock assuming no work is needed. I would have my local Audi mechanic who knows these inside and out look it over before buying it.

    Thanks!

If it’s bone stock and not a rare
    color combo you’ll expect asking
prices around $5k. That’s if in mint
    shape. If it’s an avant & 6 speed +
rare color it could go for $10k+.

    Bone stock sedan with common
color combo and auto with 100k
    $2k-$3k. If 6 speed $3k-$5k.

^^ Do all the Tacoma’s come
    standard with 4x4 now? You’d
    need that in Canada no?

I'd consider 4-5k a reasonable price if there is nothing exceptional about the car.

Dont know, but having snow tires is more important than 4x4, drove a 318 wih LSD and snow tires for two winters, never got stuck

Really depends on color and other trim options on it. Cactus Green, Hibiscus Red, Casablanca white, and Nogaro Blue will always fetch higher resale than say, Ingot Silver.

That being said, any B5 with about 100k on it and water pump/timing done, 7500 is a very good price. Fair for both seller and buyer

This got me thinking... I have a 2001.5 Cactus Green, Sport Package, Sunroof Delete, 6-Speed Manual, Sedan with 104,000 miles. The car has a brand new T-Belt (Among other things), it’s never seen a winter, no accidents, and it’s Stage 2+ with methanol injection, H&R Sport Springs, and short shifter... any guesses to its value??

I ponied up for my Nogaro recently. Mostly stock except for APR tune and some bolt on's. The car was super clean, and taken care of. Clean examples such as these are only getting harder to find, so I'm sure we will see somewhat of a B5 bubble in the near future.

$6-10k for clean sub 100k mileage cars
    Sold-2004 Silver B6 S4.
    Sold-2001Nogaro Blue B5 S4 6MT
    Current-Porsche Cayman S

Slick top, 6spd, low millage for age, rare color, you ahould be abel to get a higher than normal price, main determining factor will be how much you got in terms of maintenance records

    $3-10k

It of course depends on condition and if its the color combo you want. Bigger factor is maintenance. When if ever was the clutch changed? Still on original shocks, springs, control arms, end links, etc? Timing belt, water pump, tensioners changed recently? Heater core in and outlet condition? How's that headliner look?

    With stated options there’s almost
no way it would sell for $3k. Unless
it has severe rust or is beat to shit.
If it’s in above average shape an
enthusiast online will pay over $5k.
Cactus green with 6 speed and no
sunroof is a rare find. I doubt I would
be able to find a duplicate scouring the
internet. The slick tops are rare enough
as it is in any color.

It has truly never seen a winter. Ssac turbo back exhaust was just put on last year, as well as a new timing belt, spider hose, airbag module, 2 control arms, 2 O2 sensors, ECS 2.0T coil pack kit, NGK plugs, etc, etc. There are a couple new suspension parts, and the H&R sport springs are newer. New conti DSW’s on VMR 710s in gunmetal finish, and authentic (not ECS) RS4 grille. The headliner is perfect. The seats were also replaced about 3 years ago with all brand new black leather OEM ones since the Alcantara was worn (it’s a sport package car). I know I am missing a few things I did too. MRC tune, short shifter, and Snow Pro Performance meth injection kit were already on the car when I bought it. I will try to figure out how to post some pics to see what you guys think. I appreciate all your feedback!!!
