    Best Wiper Replacement?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Not really satisfied with the OEM wipers and looking to get something aftermarket. Don't seem to be a whole lot of great options on Amazon. I had a decent experience with my old car and Bosch ones, but none of the wipers I'm finding seem to match have good ratings. They also appear to be different sizes.

Anyone have a pair they're really happy with?

Hmm, that's sad to hear. My OEM wipers on my S4 were utter garbage. These definitely aren't good. That's disheartening.

I’ve just swapped to the Bosch ones, much better than OEM.

The pair are two different sizes. I purchased these here, from fleeBay.

Very happy with them, and you can see the Bosch part number in the description.

Bah, I'd buy 'em but they don't ship to the US. Also can't seem to find that part number anywhere other than that specific seller :(.

Edit: Scratch that, same seller on the US ebay site. Bit pricey, but they're on the way. Thanks for the recommendation.

Bosch wipers are way better then crap OEMs. They last 1.5 years no streaking.

My local dealer wants $55 for a set from them. Bought Bosch from rockauto.com recently for less than $12 plus shipping. Installing this weekend so I will know soon enough how good or bad they are

I was very unhappy with Bosch. To each their own.

Keep in mind there are several types of Bosch wiper blades. The aerotwin blades from Bosch do a very good job and are much better than what the car came with IMO.

That's what I ordered. I like that they have the same factory clip that takes all of 30 seconds to change.

Anyone know the difference between the above and these Bosch’s from FCP Euro? Final 4 of the Bosch part number is slightly different but both are listed as Aerotwins.

Don’t get your wipers confused guys

This thread was opened by the OP referring to the A7 platform.

    The A/S/RS 7 has a 24”/20” wiper configuration.

The A6 platform has a 26”/21” wiper configuration.

    Just saying

Both the links I posted say they fit my S6 so don’t think I’ve gotten anything confused if you’re referring to me.

FCP Euro website seems to be goofed up, it shows A6/S6/A7/S7/RS7 with the same set of OEM wiper blades in the fitment section, Part #: VAG-8K1998002A.

Not sure where you got that. All of the auto parts sites I've looked at show 26"/21" for the A7, which is exactly what I put on my A7 two weeks ago.
Granted, 24"/20" will work too, just not cover as much of the window.

Trico brand, working very well so far.

Thanks wwhan, that helped me sort it out. The FCP Euro site is wrong for the S6. Bosch 3397007297 is for A4/A5/Q5 (https://www.boschautoparts.com/ymme?...tName=Aerotwin) and not the S6 as their page shows. 3397007638 looks like the right Bosch Aerotwin for the C7 per your last link and matches the Amazon part number and link.

I just replaced my blades on my '15 RS7 as they had the original stockers installed. I went with Bosch Icon blades, and in the rain and snow have performed excellent. Probably the best I've had on any vehicle. We will see how long they last.
BTW, per Bosch's replacement recommendations, it was 24" and 21". The stock longer blade that was removed appeared to be longer, so estimated 26", and the smaller blade appeared to be the same size. I have not any issues with coverage with the recommended Bosch size.

Bosch Icon are the best over OEM for my Audi and BMWs. People are not buying the Icons and going for the cheaper Bosch blades which arent good.
