    Stock exhaust with test pipes before/after video

    I'm starting to feel like I should have started a build thread and probably will but just trying to share experiences as I go and this forum is a little slow compared to the S4 guys that I'm used to so I hope its ok that I keep posting updates as I build my car. I'm close on power goals, just need a revised tune and a TCU tune at some point. Next will be handling. Here is a video I put together of before and after test pipe install on an otherwise stock exhaust.

    Sounds similar to stock at idle and under partial throttle and sounds great under WOT. Not obnoxious at all. Any drone?

    No drone at all, sounds completely stock just cruising at neutral throttle.

    It took about 3 hours for the downpipes. Not bad at all.

    Did you remove the factory cats yourself or did you pay someone?

    I had my shop do it. There is a special wrench to get to the back nut that without it it would not be easy.

    I'd suggest looking at the JHM baffled cat pipes, or get a cat and have it welded into the downpipe in place of the resonators.

    Yes, I was thinking to the jhm catted but I don’t have any feedback from them, I asked what type of cat they use but no reply
