    LM430 - It seems the fastest spooling IS20 Hybrid for Audi B9 (A4/A5) and Macan 2.0T worldwide because of having the
    bigger but lighter LM highflow turbine | exhaust wheel and also the huge compressor wheel for mid and
    highend rpm performance up to 450 HP | 610NM. The most important aspect here is the 100% track stable
    LM core/cartridge which is the heart of a bestselling and famous hybrid. The Golf MK7 VII R LM440 has also got this stable core like in Leon Cupra + Audi S3 8V, TTS 8S, etc.
    The LM430 fits the A5 + A4 B9 + A6, A7, Q5, Q5 with 180 / 185 KW (245/252 HP) 2.0 TFSI Year 2014 - 2019 and also Porsche Macan 2.0 T

    What i don't understand is why don't tuners just bolt in the IS38 from the S3/Golf R into these cars? Even on my 2017 Golf Sportwagen 1.8, a IS38 upgrade was available and it made over 300whp. Other than the motor being placed longitudinally, the EA888 is the same. I even put my neuspeed power module from my old VW onto to my b9 A4.

    Good question!
    The normal IS38 does not seem to fit and needs extremely big (and expensive) modifications - See the picture of a modified IS38 - Picture 1 - to make it fit AUDI longitudinal models.
    They work also well!!! But effort is high and stock look is lost. That is why tuners look for an upgraded plug&play IS20 (see picture 2).

    Thanks.. i was wondering why. The IS38 is known killer upgrade for the MQB platform and I was surprised that it wasn't a big thing on the B9 platform. You would think you'd have more room on the B9 vs the MQB.

    Experiences (EA888 gen.3) have shown since 2013 that the stock pistons and also DSG stock clutch can mostly handle 480HP (500PS).
    Some tuners have cleverly modified (big compliments!!!) the IS38 from the MQB (Golf 7R) with lots of effort (see picture) and reached 390HP and 530NM and the AUDI engines and S-Tronic gear boxes have mastered this power excellently so far. But the problem with the IS38 turbo is that it is not really reliable and blows from time to time because of the weak OEM core. This is sad and even the clever modifying can NOT prevent that.
    That is why the PnP LM430 AUDI upgrade charger based on IS20 is developed - with TD05+ core by Mitsubishi and further developed by Ladermanufaktur Germany. It is used world-wide in daily extrem racing. In addition it has some more power (400 - 440 HP) than the modified IS38 (380 HP).
    You can YOUTUBE 'PnP LM440' to see its stability and acceleration because the LM430 uses the same technology as the famous PnP LM440.
    But installing the PnP LM430 is not all: You need a downpipe and a tune. Just consult your local tuner.

    Actually nearly all turbobuilders just re-use the original old, weak stock IHI basic unit to make fast money. The weak stock basic unit is responsible for thousands of blown IS20 & IS38 turbochargers. worldwide. Avoid saving some bucks and risking your engine but INVEST in a stable + reliable basic unit (TD05+, etc.) - Your MQB car is worth it.

    The video claims fastest but Revo Russia has gone faster last year in multiple cars based off Dragy and 1/4 data.

    REVO RUSSIA and the German IS20 LM430 distributor are partners (Streetunit, Moscow).
    They know and like the modified IS38 turbocharger very much.

    Partners with only different concepts to make B9 2.0 TFSI Longitudinal (A4/A5) faster to use their potential.
    Pricing: The stable IS20 LM430 (Germany) is much more expensive because it makes 420++ HP easily.
    Each system has its advantages.

    Does anyone with a B9 A4 have any understanding of the best tune for this turbo or for any of the hybrid offerings yet?

    Would love to have a piggy back tune if it could work seamlessly with the turbo.

    Got a reply from https://tteglobal.co.uk and they are making the recommendation for a United Motorsports tune.

    Big question is, will this turbo fit the 2.0T Ultra engines? the ones that came with 190hp stock

    The next AUDI IS20 LM430 Upgrade Turbocharger
    because the original IS20 blew with Stage 1 tuning.
    So LM430 Upgrade brings stability and works
    for the next 15 - 20 years (with benefit: It brings some more HP)

    I am assuming fueling would need to be upgraded? I've been looking for an upgrade in the next few months. I was told stock fueling would be good for up to 400 hp and stock internals around 450ish hp. I do have an a6 2.0 with the same engine as the b9 a4 (ea888 gen 3).

    How plug and play ready is this? Of course we have to find a tuner in the states willing to do so. Other than that what other parts are needed to make this work? Or can this be a true factory fit replacement

    This is with stock fueling on E20. Decat or sportcat, intercooler are needed. Turbo is plug and play.

    Hi, the LM990 has lower name/title but seems to make more easily real 1050 HP stable than the other options mentioned: Like here:
