Audi Care Select at 75k and 85k - worth it?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
    My 2015 S4 is covered for 35k, 45k, 55k, and 65k maintenance.

I have a coupon that is valid until the end of the month that can save me $100 on the 75k and 85k pre-paid maintenance.

    Is it worth the cost?

You have a 6MT, the basic value of audi care, is the cost of it is covered by the cost of DSG service. And you get 4 oi lchanges& two brake fluid flushes .Will you keep car long enough to need the 75k & 85 K service which are not done by mileage , but by years. your car does not require DSG service, you can always buy the 75 k & 85 K service later

For $100 off I'd say it's worth it.

I did he Audi car packages because it worked out to be over 20% off door price. I wish they offered them beyond 85k. Seems like Audi doesn't want to incent its owners to keep their cars past 85k.

If you have a DSG it's definitely worth it. Otherwise it's more like paying for glorified oil changes. I purchased mine at the dealership for $650 as well, but I have a DSG. They also do a "300 point inspection", but you know, most dealerships don't.

I drive about 20k miles a year so I would need to go by mileage. Since this is a rare 6MT, I would like to keep it for a while.

A word to the wise, schedule any service with Zimbrick well in advance of needing it done, if you'll need a loaner. I just called to leverage the Audi Care that came with my car, since it just hit the 3 year in-service mark, and they recommended a loaner car since I'll be getting the DSG service done. The earliest date I could get a loaner was January 10th. I don't know if it's always like that, or I hit them at a particularly busy time, but being out nearly a month to get a loaner was unexpected.

Don't they replace supercharger belt during 75k service?

Yeap, I experienced that too when I scheduled time to bring my car in because the car pulls to the right when the steering wheel is straight. They claimed that they are currently doing a lot of recalls. They did the alignment and it still isn't straight. I am bringing it up again at my 35k service, since I bought the car there.

Hope you are enjoying your S4.

Likewise, I play on keeping the car for awhile and brought this up to AoA. They aren't interested, they want us to get to that point and buy another car.
