Is anyone a fan of the A7 double 7 spoke wheels?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
My car came with these wheels stock and while I like the style on the old RS4's I've yet to see an A7 with these wheels that looks good.

I think they are nice looking wheels, but for whatever reason I can't seem to think they work well with these cars. Does anyone have examples of these wheels on an A6/A7, different finishes would be good to see as well

Wheels that came with my car.

Most google searches turn up results like these, not appealing imo:

I agree, for a winter rim it's fine. Get some nice summer rims and youre good.

I prefer those rims you have to my 2014 OEM 20" rims on my A7. I think those rims look better than mine. Aren't those 19"?

I would consider buying them but I don't want to pay the shipping to get them from Toronto to TN.

I love these wheels on the a7/s7, wish more has opted for these.

If you decide to get something else I’d be interested in them. I live in Hamilton, so only 45 min away.

Let me know and nice car!

Nope, you're mistaken. The wheel we call the RS4 is completely different from the stock RS7 wheel.

I am not talking about the 21” blade wheels, if you order RS7 with 20” wheels, it came with same style wheels

I understand exactly what you see, but that wheel is so very different. On the original RS4 wheel the double spokes are symmetrical and on the RS7 stock wheel, the spokes are parabolic, in addition to the center of the wheel, and where the spokes attach. My eye sees a very different wheel IMHO.

I agree. The newer revision of this wheel is different, albeit very similar. I use the RS4 style on my RS7 for the winter. AFAIK, the RS4 style also came OEM on the earlier A7 S Line, as I have had these on a prior A7 S Line myself.

Here are the ones I have now, they were painted in a gunmetal and I am eagerly waiting some snow to give them a try!

I have those similar style but in the black optic package style. Painted wheels with polished spoke face. I like how they look.

They are also very similar to what I had my last 2011 A8. They are classic Audi wheels. I think they look great on anything. Much better than the crazy painted black/some parts polished/some natural wheels the last couple model years on various models.

After some back and forth it looks like I will keep them and possibly have them refinished as I am not a fan of the polished look. I was set on getting 21" RS7 blade wheels or 21" rotor wheels, but it seems a lot people are having issues with bending them multiple times even after fixes. Also the twin 7 spoke are forged where as the blades/rotors aren't so it's really a downgrade quality wise.

Good call...but the polished forged is a very nice look, they look high quality.
