    S-Line Badge Placement

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
So I purchased some S-Line fender badges for my car but I can't seem to find a guide or picture accurately illustrating where they should be placed. If anyone knows or could take the measurements for me and post them, that would be great!

For reference, here are the measurements I need. The numbers in this picture don't seem accurate (I made a template in accordance to them and it was wonky) so ignore those.

And before someone inevitably asks why in the world I'd buy an S-Line badge, my car came with the sport package (S-Line suspension and interior), and i have added the S-Line front bumper and S-Line gloss black grill so I thought the fender badges would be a nice touch.

    Thanks again!

You're right, those measurements are off.

82.5mm edge of the badge to the fender
88.9mm from the top of the badge to the top of the body line

Thanks for posting those are a big help!

Just a note though, I noticed your tape measure doesn't start at zero, and adjusted the measurements accordingly and got 2.25" (57.15mm) from horizontal edge and 2.5" (63.5mm) from the body line. So it would appear that the original image I posted is actually fairly close (if not dead accurate as I may not have perfectly determined how much of your tape measure was missing)

Perhaps when I did my original mockup I was staring at it too closely which made the positioning appear off.

Anyways thanks again for the measurements! Now there is confirmation of the placement!

Shhhhh... that's his tape measure for sensitive items. ;)

I wouldn't feel any guilt about about adding the s-line badges. It's kind of a generic Audi badge that signifies sport. I did the S4 gauge faces in my Allroad and covered up the S4 logo with an s-line badge. Steering wheel too.

If they were S4 badges or Supercharged badges we would have to take you out back and put you down.

    Busted! Lol

OP... did you purchase OEM badges or aftermarket? The size may be different and you wouldn’t want the Audi badge police to issue you a ticket. Eitherway it’s your car no worries on what others say. Do what you want but yes, no S4 badge! 😜

Haha yeah It's just a sort of trim option rather than an actual model designation so I feel like it's excusable, it's not implying that the car is anything more than it actually is.

S4 badge is my next mod though, I hear it's good for an extra 100hp and the ability to outrun WRXs lol

I got OEM badges, the aftermarket ones looked kinda cheap so I found some used oem ones (wasn't about to drop over $100 on brand new badges haha). But yeah, I like the way they look so that's what matters!

I found one of them on eBay for $10 used (i'd post the link, but the seller only had one available) , and the other actually came on a used fender I purchased.
