Using A3 brakes for weight reduction/drag racing in lieu of aftermarket lighter kits

So since I first saw the Wilwood brake kit I was impressed with the size, shape, light weight and how compact the system was. I saw the weight savings and it was impressive but I think that a lot of people are overlooking the A3 braking system which is a great alternative to weight savings for the dragstrip

I compared the braking of the A3 1.8, A3 2.0, S3 and RS3 and the RS3 is not impressive at all, as a matter of fact, according to Car&Driver the RS3 gets beat by the "lesser Audi sibblings "

    Audi A3 1.8 Braking, 70-0 mph: 162 ft https://www.caranddriver.com/reviews...8t-test-review
    Audi A3 2.0 Braking, 70-0 mph: 156 ft https://www.caranddriver.com/reviews...ro-test-review
    Audi S3 2.0 Braking, 70-0 mph: 153 ft https://www.caranddriver.com/reviews...ed-test-review
    Audi RS3 2.5 Braking, 70-0 mph: 157 ft https://www.caranddriver.com/reviews...s3-test-review

Having owned a MBQ A3 2.0, a S3 and RS3 within the last 3 years I can say that the RS3 8 piston brakes feels mediocre compared to the S3 single piston. My point today is to see if people are considering the smaller brakes from an A3 as an alternative to spent a lot more for an aftermarket kit (mainly for the dragstrip). Let me know what you guys think. I am just throwing the idea.

I think a pad change would help the RS brakes out. Has anybody on here with measured a 70 to 0 stop with draggy on aftermarket pads?

^^ The part that I missed really it was about the use of the brakes for drag racing... I should have specified. Yes, the A3 brakes would be worst for repetitive braking per say on a road course although it should have an advantage if you are just stopping once at the dragstrip and let them cool off.

    I appreciate the option!

what has your research shown as the price difference between oem a3/s3 brakes vs. tuner drag specific brakes?
