    Modified exhaust valve control help.

    Hello everyone,
Recently I bought an Audi A6 allroad quattro. And I modified several parts of the car like wheel&tire, brake, ECU and exhaust.

The exhaust I choose is Akrapovic Evolution line for S6, luckily all the mufflers fits well.
Akrapovic provides a valve control kit in the box, I thought it can read the RPMs or throttle depth to control the valve. ( I got 2 original Audi valve actuators )
So I connect the power supply and CAN bus line, connect the side pin (ground) the harness that need to connect stock wiring harness.
The actuators worked, but it only close the valve when the gear position in P&N, in other position like R&D/S, it will keep valve open.

I read some info googled from Internet, the middle pin of actuators is control signal, (it's PWM signal provides by engine ECU), so I cannot control the valve depends the RPMs or throttle or drive mode.

The sound is perfect but it's too loud when I drive near home or company.

Anyone can provide some solution to solve this?
The best is can read the RPMs or some other data from engine or MMI to control the valve automatically. Or control it by manual(open/close)
I found there is 2 empty slot in Akrapovic control kit named Sound Kit/Motor Kit, anyone tried use such parts to control the valve without the signal from engine?

BTW, I found REMUS sound controller or Milltek active valve control may solve this, but not sure, it is too dear to buy such things to try. (in China, you can not return such things without quality issue)

ANTHER BTW, the wheel is BBS FI-R 20" 9.5J ET35, the tire is Michelin PS4S 265/35/20, APR stage 2 ECU and TCU, brembo GT 6 brake and endless brake pads. :)

    Thanks a lot

I'd just get a switchpath, cete valve control, or similar and not worry about it. I'm using the cete with my akrapovic right now and I have no regrets at all. I had to chop my defective akra wiring harness up to make a little extension for the driver's side valve motor connection, but that was the most interesting it got.

    cete valve controller: https://europrice.us/controller-pack...-exhaust-valve

You completely remove the akrapovic controller and replace it with one of these. Mine is currently sitting in my toolbox.

edit: you mention other controllers in your post. They do the same thing, so it is just a matter of which one gives you the control you want

Yesterday I found the cete valve controller, but it said only fits Mercedes. Is the valve actuator harness same?
    Thanks buddy.

Doesnt the controller allow you, just like the cete and milltek controller, to manually close/open them by pressing twice on the ESP button?

It seems that cete and milltek ACSs are the same thing. They need to connect the CAN bus so it can read the RPM of engine, drive mode etc. So it can change the valve by the drive mode (comfort---close, dynamic---open, auto---by original), protect engine (when RPM reaches 5000/min, it will open the valve regardless the drive mode), and by ESP button to manual control the valve.

I read these in the instruction and manual, but I wonder whether I can use it. Because I don't have stock control wire.

The Milltek module may or may not be made private labelled by CETE for them

When getting the AVC you do need the proper one for your car. One made for other models will not work with your Audi at all.

    Cheers,
I talked to the CETE support guys, they said no problem. AVC can be used for my car.
Also I bought an AWE switchpath (it is available in China now, and I already got it :) ), let's see what will happen.
I've ordered a CETE AVC, when I got it, see how it works.
