Hey guys, so I picked up my A4 from auction it had been crashed in the front. The front two airbags deployed. So now I have to remove and replace the dash because of the passenger airbag.

Does anyone know if a dash and passenger from a 2.0 will work for a 3.2? I found a nice one at the junkyard.

And how do I go about removing the dash? I couldn't seem to find a tutorial. thanks

Drew, any B7 dash will work. The part numbers are the same across the board, from a 2.0 TDI through to the RS4. Engine configuration has no specific dash.

The only differences are limited to the actual instrument cluster, and trim, which are transferable from your old one.

Remove driver kick panel, glovebox, and dash trim. Then remove steering wheel, colum plastic, and instrument cluster. From there remove the two side panels and all bolts should be accessible. I can’t remember if there is one on the top center of the dash vent or not, but that cover just pops off to check.

One other question, does anyone know if the cooling fan assembly is interchangeable as well? I have the 3.2 and found one from a 2.7 and a 3.0.
