History:
To my knowledge, the car was leased and then purchased by a dentist through Schmitts Audi in Buffalo NY. He then traded it in for a new 911 at Northtown Porsche during the summer of 2014. The car had a CPO warranty until the previous owner traded it in, and Audi Care service was transferred to me – ended in November 2014.
I’ve owned the car since October 2014. Purchased from Northtown with 29,xxx miles and very meticulously maintained since my first day of ownership. I have spared no expense with maintenance and upgrades with long-term longevity as my primary concern. Anyone who sees and/or drives the car would agree that I’ve accomplished the goal of retaining an OEM+ type of look and feel through tasteful modification. Only the best available parts used, and maintenance was done regularly, often ahead of schedule as a preventative measure.
The maintenance and upgrades on this car have been my obsessive hobby for the past 4+ years. So obsessive in fact, that I have risked my own health and many friendships while working on this car and researching how to best keep it maintained. Really- I'm not kidding. My objective is/was to keep this car at like-new mechanical condition before working on any of the additional upgrades (below) to enhance its drivability & appearance.
Overall, it’s an extremely clean, well maintained and unique S5. Aesthetically speaking, every single part that I have changed is still OEM (except for the custom spoiler). It is very often mistaken for a RS5 because it does share a few RS5 components, and the Competition Plus Bumper looks very similar to the RS5. My vision of modding this car to be a cross between a S5 and RS5 was fully achieved. It performs and looks like Audi created something in between the two models.
I'd estimate that I put close to $24,000 into this S5 during my period of ownership – Over $28,000 if we’re including labor costs. Take a look at the list. I'm not making this up.
I have treated this car like it was a six-figure exotic since day one. Always parked in the back of parking lots. Washed inside and out at least monthly- usually every other week (weather permitting).
Full disclosure: It has taken a total of 15 paced (65-70mph) laps around Watkins Glen International during the past two opening day weekends – yes, that’s the day where they let minivans drive on the track. I wouldn’t qualify that as actual track-time, but technically, it has been on the track. It has also been to the local ¼ mile track where I did a total of three passes. Never launched outside the three time trials at the ¼ mile track, and never launched after the new clutch was installed.

In the 4 years I have owned it, the following maintenance work has been done: I have a huge paper file with every receipt I’ve ever received. Some maintenance items I have done myself (oil, filters & brakes for example)
Oil changed with Audi-specific Mobil One full synthetic every 3,000-5,000 miles. Fueled regularly with 93 octane gasoline (usually from Mobil). Checked by Audi specialists at CDI in Victor, NY any time I had any concern.
Some highlights - I will gladly provide fully detailed maintenance info to any serious prospective buyer:
• Regular 4 wheel alignment with any suspension work
• ~60k- RS5 Front Brake package installed (Rotors, Pads, Lines, Fluid)
• ~65k- Clutch, flywheel, throw-out bearing, clutch line, clutch fork, fluid, & associated hardware replaced.
• right rear wheel bearing replaced (same as clutch)
• ~74k Rear brake pads and rotors replaced
• ~75k Carbon Clean, injector rebuild, coolant flush, adjustable control arms installed, & Engine Mount replacement
• ~ 80k HVAC blower motor replaced
• ~85k Audi Recall on Catalytic converters - replaced with brand new cats
Other:
• Owners manuals and two keys included
• Most service records since I have owned it, and many records from previous ownership (I keep a big folder of the parts, services, etc.
Needs/Full disclosure:
• Driver’s side bolster is a little worn, but stitching is perfect. The leather is sound.
• Sunroof shade stopped working – the retractable screen broke and I was going to replace it (for roughly $200), but never got around to it as it does not bother me.
• Keyless entry door handle sensors work intermittently - never got around to replacing – many have had luck buying the ~$30 replacement sensors from eBay.
• The rear bumper has been professionally repainted by a high-end autobody shop– I slowly backed into the license plate of another vehicle in my driveway. It scratched the bumper, and I had it repainted to new condition. The color match is 100% perfect, and the paint is guaranteed for life.
• Strangers will walk up to you at gas stations and will want to learn about you and your car. The majority will be males aged 20-55, and many mistake it for a RS5.
The Good:
• Pulls strong, 354+ HP at the crank – have not had it dynoed after clutch upgrade. Would estimate that it's near 300AWHP - roughly 380-400HP at the crank.
• Newer heavy duty Clutch & Flywheel
• Has just about every imaginable performance part on the market - ready for you to supercharge if so desired.
• Suspension good, very solid handling feel
• AWD system and sport differential work great- Incredible in any road condition, including snow
• Recently Carbon cleaned, all maintenance up to date.
• Great mechanical shape
• Body is very clean no highly noticeable dings or dents. Freshly corrected paint and ceramic coated.
• Interior is in great shape. Leather is soft and the seats are extremely comfortable
• No warning lights or codes on dash
• Constant compliments, thumbs up on the road (even from police), children hanging out of windows to take photos
• You may overhear someone call your car “Iron Man’s Car” even though it’s clearly not a R8

Why am I selling?
Well… I’m not really trying to sell. Frankly, there are currently no other cars that I’m interested in at this moment. Since the facelift especially, Ive received a number of PMs and DMs on Facebook and Instagram asking what my magic number is for selling my car. The purpose of this post is to let folks know how much my car is worth to me, and how much it would take for me to sign the title over to someone new. You’ll see my price in the next paragraph. Clearly, I'm not in any rush, and it would take a very serious offer to get me interested.
$25,000 for everything listed – car & all stock parts mentioned above. Title in hand, owned free and clear, ready to go.
I understand that some folks who failed to read this post in its entirety may have gripes with the asking price... Say what you want. I don’t care. As mentioned above, I have well over the asking into the car as it sits now anyway. Worst case scenario is I get to enjoy my car for myself for years to come.
Please feel free to contact me via PM with any questions/comments/concerns. Pictures, videos, & more info available upon request.
More in my "build" thread here: http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...o-Thread/page4
Part-out requests will be ignored. This car will be left completely as-is unless a legitimate buyer wishes for parts to be removed.
Thanks,
Josh
