Akebono Euro Premium Ceramic pads. Similar feel to OEM with no brake dust. Have used them on my C7 A6 and A7 and they’ve performed flawlessly.

Hi I have the standard steel Rotor, will they work? Are they extremely hard on Rotors or they just like factory, the pad I got now dust too much

I would say no different than factory pads on the rotors. I haven’t noticed any extra wear or anything. I’ve used them on factory rotors and Centric carbon rotors from Tire Rack.

Hi will they work on the standard factory caliper? Mine is not ceramic brake, just standard a7 brake, can I just swap the pad? Thanks

Yes, you just swap the pad with the included wear sensor. Plug & play

FWIW I had Akebono pads on my B8 S4 and did not care for them. Less dust was fantastic but they had worse brake feel than stock, less initial bite, but I am not sure how this would compare with the stock A model brake pad compound since most S models seem to be semi-metallic.

Hi does the Akebono pad have less initial brake bite than stock? Have you try the ate pad? How are they compared to the Akebono pad? Please help thanks

Akebonos are ceramics, and ceramic pads don't bite as well as the OEM semi-metallic pads.
