    Height of Audi OEM Roof Rack for Q7

    Does anyone have any idea what the height of the Audi OEM rack is, or the total height of a 2018 Q7 at its highest point once the OEM rack is installed?

    Trying to determine whether an Inno Wedge Box will fit in my garage if using the Audi OEM roof rack/cross bars. Anyone use the OEM bars and know the height or have a pic?

    Highest point of my bars 70.5" I'd say. With the box on, I have a couple of inches to spare. I'll double check the garage door clearance but want to say is 84"
    I got the Shadow 15 as it was one of the shallowest and my 4Runner was taller than the Q7 with bars.

    Thanks. I’ll be back in town tomorrow to check mine too. I think 84” is correct. Which if it is, wedge should work if OEM bars aren’t too high. Thanks again for checking.

    To answer my own question definitively, and help anyone who is interested in OEM racks: top of front rack at center of car sticks up just about 4” from the center of the front rail.

    Found a box (Inno Wedge 660) that is low profile enough that with my 2018 Q7 and Audi OEM racks still fits in the garage and looks good.
