What non obvious fixes have sorted this code out for you?

Fuel cuts, and sometimes stalls from a stop.

What I mean by non obvious is fuel pumps, filter, cam, follower, sensors, O2, MAF, cleaning the fuel tank.

All of these have been replaced or validated.

I have searched for hours on this forum and others. The one that gave me some hope was Loki with the collapsed coolant hose, but my coolant system is all tight.

    Thank you in advance.

If all of your hardware is good maybe you have a bad fuel pump control unit or wiring. Just a guess. Any water in the car lately? Parked under a tree for a while? Is it rural or city where you live? Cood be critters eating wires. Maybe a pinched fuel line. The car could need an ECU update. Again, just guesses. Could be PCV related and you might need the updated valve and tube.

You need to run logs of your fuel system with VCDS I’d say.

In all seriousness though OP i would check your LPFP lines to make sure they arw not pinched. Only requires 3 philips heads to remove cap and inspect them. Sounds like fuel related. I was having fuel cuts recently until i replaced in tank LPFP.

Name one part I said for him to replace. Only possible causes that might not be obvious

And of course, my last sentence.

Your part swapped status is secure. 🤣🤣

Non obvious how are your sparkplugs? When i first bought my car it was getting fuel cuts at WOT and it got progressively worst. I searched and was convinced it was a cam follower issue because the symptoms seemed spot on. Turns out it wasn't the cam follower swapped out spark plugs and everything was gravy. I also swapped my coilpacks because I realized that since I bought the car I hadn't changed either one.

Lpfp has been replaced. Lines blown through, spark plugs, r8 coil packs, PCV, breather tube.

My cuts are always happening at low rpm, and often from a stop occasionally resulting in a stall. Typically they reside after the car has been driven more than 20 minutes. And yes, the carbon has been cleaned.

No water in the car since I’ve owned it. I live in the city, garage at home and work.

Most of this work has been done at a shop that’s reputable. He is very committed to fixing the car, it’s been there for 4 1/2 weeks now.

At this point in time he is going through all of the electronics.

All of the logs show the fuel system is operating properly, with the exception of the moments when the fuel cuts.

The more research I do the more it seems that a lot of owners who have the bad luck of this deal with it for awhile until they finally come across the random part that fixes it.

Call or bring it to the dealer and see if there is an ECU update available for your VIN pertaining to this code. If you’re having a hardware/software conflict, no amount of parts are going to fix it.

Bringing it there may fix your problem or leave you exactly where you are now but at least you’ll know your ECU has the most up to date software version and that it isn’t the cause.

I’d also make sure you have the proper fuel filter in the car. Having the wrong part number can cause some odd behavior because the fuel filter has a pressure regulator in it.

The shop updated the ecu. I personally replaced the filter once, oem from the dealer. The shop has also put one on the car. Uses only dealer parts.

They are digging into relays everything electrical at this point.
