Hey guys Christian owner of EnfigCarStereo here. B6 3.0 Convertible owner.
After years of answering the same questions about radio installations in B6 and B7 Audi A4's S4's and RS4's I decided to make a video to cover most of the questions I get asked every day.
Feel free to ask any question below.
Here is a link to our product selector. If you do not see your radio comment below and we will add it.

This is for all 2007-2008 sedan and wagons and 2009 Convertibles with the Symphony II+ radio. If you the the RNS-E navigation radio its the same except you also have the GPS antenna behind the radio.
2005.5-2006 cars with RNS-E are also the same. 2005-2006 Convertibles with the RNS-E radio will have the older 3 buttons on each side steering wheel but the install is all the same.
2002-2006 A4 Sedan and Wagon install the same. But they use a different antenna adapter and connector on the Smart Radio Wiring Harness since they have the Symphony II radio.
GPS ANTENNA
All cars that came with the RNS-E Navigation radio from the factory also have the GPS antenna behind the radio.
Most 2003-2008 B6 and B7 in the US that did not have A GPS radio installed at the factory had the antenna on the roof.
In the wagon the antenna is located behind the Sirius radio in the left side of trunk.
In the sedan it is located on the side of the rear window on the passenger side.
The convertible only has the GPS antenna if the car came with the RNS-E Navigation radio.
VIDEO COMING SOON
Sirius Antenna
All 2003-2008 Sedans and wagons and 2009 Convertibles have the factory Sirius XM antenna connection in the rear left side right in the trunk where the factory Sirius XM tuner is. On some B6 models the carpet must be removed. For the rest of them this video shows you how to get to the tuner.
Factory Microphone Location
This video will show you how to run a microphone to the overhead location in your car. Our custom mic sounds better than the current microphones that come with your radios.
No you cannot use the mic that came with the car with an aftermarket radio.
Glove box removal
Some of you may want to do this.
