Sway bar clunk back again, and again, any ideas how to fix permanently?

I had Eurocode front and rear sways installed with moog endlinks a couple months ago. Lasted 4 days before the front started clunking, you could see where it was scratching off the powder coat on the sway bar (where it connects to the endlink driverside). Took it back to the shop, they re-torqued and added locktite.

A couple months later, just started up again...

Could this be from reusing the bolts when they retorqued? Is there better hardware i can get to keep it tight?

Appreciate any input. This drives me crazy. It's a nice car and clunking makes it sound liek a piece of shit!

My rear 034 has been clunking lately and I can't seem to get rid of it. I'm about ready to put the factory bar back in because you're right. It's a nice car and it shouldn't have this annoying clunking like it's on blown struts or something.

Suggest 2 things: disconnect one endlink and drive car to see if clunk is gone....if not, repeat on other side. If clunk returns after reinstalling enlinks, replace all 4 bolts and both endlinks. If clunk remains check for other causes, such as "D" clamp bolts, and strut bolts as well as any other possible suspension points including ball joints.

Thanks so much for the reply.

So it's 100% the connection with the sway bar because i can see where the powder coat has been rubbed off. It is 100% the bolts backing off slightly.

Do you know if they make better hardware that won't loosen?

The bolts have to be torqued to spec and then an additional 1/4 turn to stretch. If they only torqued the bolts, they will loosen every time. Also, make sure they did not re-use the original bolts since they have to be replaced. Once the bolts are stretched, they cannot be re-used.

That's what I thought and i'm willing to bet they didn't replace the hardware (they'd probably charge me lol). That's just really annoying...
