    Location of Camshaft Position Sensors?

    Hi,

I bought a new Camshaft Position Sensor, and I want to replace the correct one. Does anyone know where it is?

    I'm getting:

P0393 Camshaft Position Sensor 'B' Circuit High Bank 2

There is a sensor on each side right on top of the cylinder head in clear sight, but where are the other two? From what I've read sensor B is the exhaust camshaft.. It's not way in the back of the engine, is it?

If it helps, the sensors are 07L 905 163 C

    Thanks,

    Marcus

    Edit:

Mechanic buddy looked it up for me. The other sensors are farther down, below the heads of the coilpacks. I had assumed that they would be up, not off to the side and down.

    It's a 2014 RS4 with the 4.2 FSI.

Ah ok very good. Here's a diagram. The camshaft position sensor is #13 and #17.
