Question How to turn off passenger seat belt alarm

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I am a B5'er, but my roomate just got a B7 and when i went for ride, i didn;t put my seat belt on right away, and there was an annoying "ding..ding..ding" sound, i am sure you guys are familiar with it, it was new to me, being from a B5. Anyways, is there anyway to turn it off? Same thing happened in my new F150, but in the manual, there was a sequence of buckling and unbuckling the belt that shut it off. Anyone heard of this? Thanks, and sorry if it's already been discussed, i tried searching.

No need to apologize for the "ignorance," there was no reason for you to have even known about that post unless you were researching on AW. Hope your friend gets the chime thing resolved...it is super annoying!
