How many miles is too many on an S8

Been in the market for a nice beater, this seems like a ton of car for the money, but worried about the mileage.

Never owned an A8/S8 so was wondering what you guys/girls thought.

How much longer could it run? Anybody have one with over 200k miles?

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Wow 178,000 - I hope to get an upgrade before my 91000 08 S8 hits that mark. Still fun as hell for a "beater";)

All depends on if it was properly maintained. The other issue is these are expensive cars to maintain properly if you want all the toys to work. I have a 2015 S8 I bought 6 months ago with 26k miles on it. It was pre-certified and has a 100k mile warranty. Just picked it up yesterday after having 4 new 275/35/ZR21 Dunlop tires put on and the requisite wheel alignment...at the dealer $2320. I also purchased a technology warranty that covers all of that stuff up to 126k miles. That gives me piece of mind because every little gizmo and gadget is an easy $1-2k repair each if not more. I love my S8, and en joy spanking hellcats, GT350s, and ZL1s while having my back massaged in an opulent interior. If you love the car, get it. It just costs a bit to keep her in racing form. I installed the Milltek non-resonated exhaust on mine.....I highly recommend it ($3500ish).

Great car brother , I have a 15 A8 with all the bells, v6 supercharged was thinking going with a APR upgrade.

I noticed you didn't mention spanking a CTS V. Lol.

I know yours is fast as hell. The S8 was my first choice but my budget said other wise.

Are you going to do any upgrade?

    I'm sitting at 740 horsepower, torque 700.
