Hey guys anyone can give advice on this one:

This A4 has the 2.0 alt petrol engine, it has some big air leak in the i take manifold area, I narrowed to those 4 short hoses that connect the manifold to the engine. Any part number to replace those? thanks in advance

edit: some Ebay search and found the OEMs in UK:

and more search found silicone, but dunno if those are compatible? looks very similar:

Easiest thing to me would be to take them off, bring them to your local auto parts store, and get heater hose in the right size. Cut to proper length and clamp them down with your standard screw/worm clamps (ones with rolled edges preferably). That is if you feel comfortable running heater hose there vs something like the OEM hose. But to me, it's just rubber and the local auto parts heater hose fix looks like it will do the job just fine for such small sections.

No problem. If you bring it to the right parts store, they could possible have exact replicas or something that will be a direct drop in. It's just rubber. But there may be lips where it clamps (don't know that engine). As long as it seals...it's just rubber.

^^ nice there are other engines with those hoses.

The engine makes a loud whistle when going on a step hill, engine under load. A whistle if like the PCV system took a crap.

This engine is not turbo, its the 2.0 petrol ALT engine. Anybody knows if this one uses the suction pump same as the 1.8T ?

Where is located there are any pics from the 1.8T so I can look on the engine bay? what could be.. Thanks in advance

Did the generic hose work? Was curious about this, and was waiting for your update.

Was the whistle there before you changed those hoses? As for the jet suction pump on the 1.8t turbo, it look like a plastic y-piece and is located around the area I circled in blue (pardon the crappy MS Paint skills). I am assuming your brake booster should go right to it.

Pulled a quick pic off the internet of a Passat 1.8t.

thanks for the pics. I havent changed them yet, havent had the time and still diagnosing the leak further. But this thing of the whistle points me to this jet suction pump. Still researching. Maybe I need to do this test leak with a cigar or something.
