E85 fuel mileage? I know it’s 550hp, who cares, but still curious

As the title suggests, what are those of you running an E85 tune seeing for gas mileage?

Not on it yet but doesn't it take like 30% more volume to create the same energy? So 30% less economy?

260 is better gas mileage than I average stock on 91 octane.

With the A/C on, driving "spirited" around town I've been measuring 16-17 mpg. Highway seems to be around 20 if crusin. The factory mpg gauge is really inaccurate, I measure mpg by using total miles driven and how much gas I fill up.

E85 has been really addicting with the powa, having way too much fun burning da !

I’ve been running on E70 now for 15k miles or so. My daily commute is around 50 miles. I usually fill up when 30-40 mile range indicated.

My E70 mileage has been pretty poor since I use the car to commute in stop and go traffic as well as gunning it when I do have open space to enjoy the power. I'm seeing 16-19 depending on how bad the traffic has been and how heavy my foot is.

I see up to 30 mpg indicated when at cruise in D on the freeway but I haven't had a long traffic-free trip to verify the actual MPG of E70 on a long highway drive.

Prices of E85 over here still worth it. Some Pearson stations had E85 for $2.10 a gal today! Normally around $2.80 a gal.

    ^ That’s a pretty good price. Luckily on Long Island it’s usually $1.90 a gallon or less. I don’t have a RS3 yet but I average 9mpg or less

You definitely make a lot more trips to the gas station, but it almost balances out with the savings

I am seeing 16mpg. But it is cheap. Pity my closest station is 25 mins away..

Petro canada correct? I used to get 480km on stock tune, with stage 1 I'm getting 500-540, depending on driving style. My commute is 60% highway though

Make sure your calculating it and not using what the car says.

I know in the gtr world everyone thought they were getting great fuel economy until they realized the dash wasn't calibrated properly for the fueling changes

I actually got good cruising MPG in my GTR when I was e85 FBO. When I went stroker Alpha 12, not so much.

I reset my trip every fill up and that’s what I go by. I have made many of trips to Vegas and it’s around 330 miles away. I get in to town with 20-30 miles left until empty. This is cruising at 85 with some occasionally speed runs.
