blue avantgarde mercedes tint?

if anyone is familier with MB in europe.. they have an avantgarde trim for their C and E class cars.. which come with a bluish tint.. i believe it is standard on the MB cars in USA.. i was wondering if that type of a tint was availabel install as a film on us audis?

here's a pic of the CLK windows parked next to mine.. it's not great but you can see the blueish tint compared to the usual color of car glass which is greenish like our audis

Sunguard and V-Cool are two companies that make them but i have no idea about their distributors or where its sold.

The blue tint glass in the Mercedes is available on the c-class when you order the sport package, and comes standard on the c55 amg, and clk500 iirc. The blue tint is not a coating, but blue throughout, just like our glass that is a light tint of green throughout.

It would be quite difficult to duplicate this blue simply by applying a film, without it looking like cheap tint film gone bad and turning purple.

I believe you are right on the C class, C55, and CLK.. they all have it..

i understand the glass is blue itself as my dad has a CLK in hong kong and when you look at the windows sideways its blue not green..

so it would be not possible at all to somehow replicate this type of color?

exactly what audibmi said. That's either pigmentation in the glass or a dip... I can't remember which... either way it'd be very difficult to replicate on our windows with film tint.

My friend's C55 AMG has that tint and it came like that. Btw we're from Vancouver, Canada.

yup the c-class sport package as well as well as several other benz's have it. and i also think itll look weird and kinda lame on an audi... reason being that the benz's that have this tint also usually have light gray interior as well. most b6's ive seen have dark interiors. itll look weird with the light blue windows. that being said, the only audis i think itll look actually decent on is a white/silver with the lowers painted and with light gray interior... but i dont think we have light gray interiors and the beige/tan is a shade too dark :o
