    P050B Cold Start Ignition Timing Performance

    Anybody familiar with common causes for this one? Just started getting after upgrading from Uni Stage 1+ to Stage 2 and APR intake and downpipe. Not sure if coincidental or not. I cleared the codes and will pull the plugs and see what's there. Plugs are supposedly new from the dealer, but wouldn't be the first time getting tall tales from them. Hopefully that's it as it will give me an excuse to put in the Funky RS7 plugs

    I'd probably start with a fresh set of properly gapped stock plugs first.

    Well, it seems odd that it was right after putting on the downpipe and stage 2 tune. That said, I ordered some of the RS7 plugs and will see what that does.

    I had that code and changes out my plugs, never came back. After seeing all the issues with different plugs I stayed stock, been making 450whp on them over a year now.

    I pulled the plugs.. they were new, but all just finger tight... <smacks forehead> Seems you can't trust mechanics around here to do anything right. They screwed up everything else they touched too (low oil, low coolant etc. all after they did the service. Since I had them out, I put in the RS7 plugs. Will keep the "old" ones as spares as they have maybe 500 miles on them. Seems to run smoother.

    New plugs didn't do it. Code came back. Hmm.
