is Tune2Air Bovee WMA3000A still the best to get

I want to add bluetooth music, etc to my 2012 S4. It has NAV and hands-free (ie phone bluetooth).

Is the Bovee WMA3000A still the best to get? for some reason I thought these were close to $50 than the $90 on Amazon.

    Thanks,

Has been working great for me and many others. Haven’t heard of any new adapters for streaming.

Carpro is better IMHO, had Bovee before someone stole it from my glovebox at the carwash, got Carpro since it was a little cheaper and don't have to disconnect and reconnect to adapter as often. Sound quality is the same.

Any time this question comes up I always recommend doing the B8.5 MMI upgrade. You get built in audio streaming and you don't lose use of your AMI port.

That level of upgrade is interesting, but I might just save up for an RSNAV at that point.

    I'm going simple for now.

Wait really? This idea never crossed my mind. The adapter in my wife’s b8 is garbage and constantly disconnects. Would love to have the same system I have in there.

Maybe I am misunderstanding. What is the B8.5 MMI upgrade you're referring to? I thought it consisted of buying a new head-end and having to go to the dealer to re-flash it (or something like that). How do you do it for under $100?

On average it costs $400 - $500. I'm guessing he meant the tune2air is under $100. It's a great cost effective option, but much like washyourrhands, I had issues with the bluetooth dongle and got tired of it. So I bit the bullet and upgraded to the B8.5 MMI (If you have nav already this is just the head unit and center console controls, plus a trip to the dealer to remove the component protection) and I haven't had an issue since.
