    Audi RS5 engine fault codes

    My first thread in this forum. Sorry that it's a call for help.
    Have got some fault codes on my RS5 -2011.
    The car have a new engine installed it has been running for 1000km.
    Also it's equipped with milltek exhaust.

    The story is.
    Earlier it was code P0087 Rail Low pressure fuel and also code 10436 - ROD - Unknown code - 00 [237]

    Did have the car at the dealer ship and they found out that the exhaust clamp between the catlytic and the exhaust was loose.
    We hoped that this was the problem otherwise they said it proberly is the catalytic converter

    Driving from the dealer ship so did the car got code P0366.
    A day after the P0366, engine light showed up again with the same unknown code as earlier.

    Can it be possible that the catalytic converter is ok and that the camshaft sensor has been the problem from the start.

    Hej Krister, welcome to the forum.

    One of the guys had the same low fuel rail fault a few months ago, search the fault code on here and it may come up. You could always check the connection to the fuel pressure sensor and check the wire harness from it, it lives on the left fuel injector rail at the front underneath.

    For the cam shaft sensor, check wiring from/to Camshaft Position Sensor
    Check Camshaft Position Sensor by swapping them and see if the fault code moves

    Was this a new replacement engine ?

    More likely to be electrical connections then hopefully.

    What happened to the original motor?
