Thoughts:
Installation was a little tedious but I took my time and figured it out. Most Youtube vids of A3 mirror housing removal don't include an extra power connector that I found on the RS3, however disassembly was easy once I figured it out how the connectors unclip. Approx 5-6 torx screws to remove/loosen.
The sweeping motion looks good (to me) day or night
As you can see...when not illuminated it blends well with the stock housing. The lights don't seem wild or blinding. From the driver perspective ... the stock part has a transparent square notch on end of the mirror so that you can see the "blink" when the signal is on. On the aftermarket, its smoked and you can still see the light after each sweep however since it falls slight short of the outside edge, its not as bright and pronounced. I personally prefer it this way because I thought it was a distraction in stock form.
Going to see how they look at night tonight and keep them on for a bit to make a final decision.
