Has anyone used Ghost Links to lower your A/S6?

I'm looking to lower my S6 about an 1". Not too drastic. Some of the electronic mods are very pricey, and my shop doing some of the tuning suggested using Ghost Links from Ghost Motorsports. These links trick the computer to thinking the car is higher than it really is, and lowers it based on how long you adjust the links. They guys at Ghost claim you can go as low as 2". Does anyone have any experience with these? or similar products? thanks in advance for the input. https://www.ghostmotorsports.com/audi

I have them on my RS7. I lowered it about an inch but it looks like they can go lower and I am planning on dropping it a little more this summer.

I am definitely happy with them for the price. It took the shop about an hour or so to install since I don’t have equipment to raise my car high enough to do it myself.

You might want to also look at Evolution lowering links. The main difference is that the Evolution links can be adjusted without removing the link from the sensor.

What are the drawbacks of using links?

Car doesn't really 'know' it's lower, like when lowered via VCDS (or OBD11). Therefore, much easier bottoming out, I'd guess. Plus certain systems might not work properly, like adaptive headlights, adaptive cruise, etc. I lowered mine via VCDS, and wouldn't want it any lower, since suspension travel is already somewhat limited. And stance looks perfect IMO. I don't believe the 'slammed' look belongs to a sedan like ours, but to each his own. By the way, some folks use both methods, but don't know if it'd be better just links, or both.

So Evo links on car - only reduced linkage length by 5mm (max recommended is 9mm) and car throws a “air suspension error”.
My lazy self wanting to avoid getting under the car again - could I simply play with VCDS and raise the car a few mm?

I couldn’t get vcds lowering to work in my 2016 S6. Got warnings coming up about lights, adaptive cruise, collision avoidance and suspension issues no matter how much I lowered it.

Went with the Evo links and dropped about an inch and cars been great. The cars ride way high anyway. I have to use raise mode maybe couple times a year for really steep, tall curbs.

Ghost links used my car to make the first set of links for these cars. Work perfectly, no codes. 5 plus years, no issues.IMG_4959.JPG

I played with my Evo links this weekend to level the car (PO installed them), raised the front a bit and lowered the rear a bit and now I get the dang error as well. I may need to revert back to what it was and raise the front and leave rear as it was.

VCDS for the save - raised it via VCDS and error gone.
Much less fiddly for the last few mm adjustment...

I probably should have messed with them in VCD, but like you I wasn't sure if it was possible so did it manually. I'll definitely mess with it via VCD to get it spot on
