Capristo exhaust for B8 RS5 $3000

Unfortunately I sold my 2015 Audi RS5 to buy what I thought was better. Wrong! Well, I can't go back in time so I am selling my Capristo non resonated exhaust from it. Although I haven't heard any other brands, I can attest that this is an awesome sounding exhaust. Everyone can't believe I sold the car cause it sounded and looked so well. I purchased this exhaust new from TAG Motorsports about 9 or so months ago (I have the receipts from my purchase), and had it on my car for about 8 months before removal. I am asking $3000 dollars which is $1000 less than what I paid. I can ship within the continental US, but we will have to work out the logistics. It's in excellent condition, but I will clean it prior to shipping or pick up. Call or text me 757-870-7615.

It's one and the same as far as RS5 goes, but can't fit an s5.

No problem, the piping on the s5 has one less bend than the rs5, you could buy this and chop it up, but at this price point it doesn't make much sense .

Do you have the resonated section or did you order it directly non-resonated from TAG? What's the drone like with valves closed and open at highway speeds?

I ordered it directly from TAG without the center resonator and I wouldn't want it otherwise. It sounds excellent from the inside of the cabin and out. Of course you will hear a drone when you hammer it, but it's not obnoxious. You can still hold a conversation on your bluetooth, but the person on the other end would know when your running hard with the valves open. It passed my wife's seal of approval, lol.

At highway speeds it's not a drone but a rumble with the valves open. When it's closed it's a little louder than stock, but no drone.

2017 GTR. Plenty fast, but will never have the same sound as the 4.2l V8.

Gotcha. I've always wondered what my next DD move would be, but the RS5 is just too good IMO that anything worth upgrading to is easily 2x the price. GTRs are great but like you said, it doesn't sound as good, rides rougher, and the RS5 interior is just so much more refined compared to the GTR. Anyways, grats on the sale! I'm sure the new owner will be just as happy as the rest of us with Capristo.

Switching vehicles was more on impulse than anything else. I should have just looked into purchasing some sort of remote to close the valves when starting my Audi. It was extremely loud on cold starts and I didn't want my neighbors too mad with me, lol. I miss my adaptive cruise control and just the overall way it felt. Like they say, "the grass isn't always greener on the other side of the fence". Peace to you!
