Best RS7 tire sizes for the 21 inch factory rim

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
In your opinion what is the best 21 inch tire size aside from the OEM size (275/35ZR21) for your car? I'm debating on going to a 285/35ZR21 series Michelin Pilot Sport 4s but are there any other options available? Anyone running higher than a 285? Please share your thoughts and opinions, thanks!

I’m currently running 285/35/21 on the factory RS7 wheels because I felt like a 30 sidewall wasn’t thick enough for the terrible roads we have in the DMV area. I’ve had my fair share of cracked rims from potholes. I also went wider since going APR Stage 2. The car sits up a little higher with the thicker sidewall, rides a whole lot smoother, but you will get some rubbing in dynamic mode under hard cornering.

Did Audi change the tire size on RS7? My factory 21 size is 275/30/21.

I can only find PS4S's in 275/30/21. I can find PSS in 285/30/21.

Hmmm I hear you... PGH isn't any better for potholes. I don't daily my car, I only take it out on select days and places I'm going. If I know I'm going to the city I'll gladly take my truck instead..

How did the 25 profile handle the roads? I love the width from the 295 PSS, no spacers needed it seems, how did the tire fit on the 9 inch wheel Rez?

I run 285/30/21 PSS on stock 21 wheels. Car also lowered via VAG. No rubbing. You do need to look out for potholes in PA. Bent 1 rim once with stock 275/30/21 P zero and another with the 285/30/21 PSS, so I don't see the difference , just need to avoid them.

What are our options for a winter setup for the 21” blades? Having a hard time finding tires. Just purchased a 2014 with summer tires. Need a winter setup ASAP!

A really good performance snow tire is the Dunlop SP Winter Sport 4D, 275/30R/21 W rated. A number of us run it. They ended this years production run. I bought 6 Through Dealer Tire which only sells to dealers. About $390 per tire. A tire shop I talked to found some at $500 per tire.

Read a RS7 owner run 275/35-21, they are taller than stock but should work fine. https://www.audizine.com/forum/showt...ht=275%2F35-21

Hey really curious on how well did the 295 tire fit on the factory 9inch rim ?
I want to run them but a lot of pages say that it isn’t safe nor will it fit properly.
    Thank you !
