MMI 3G+ 2g to 3G signal - new UMTS module required

Anyone managed to source a replacement for the Cinterion AH6 module? I have converted my 3g+ from US to EU but need a AH3-W-Rel3 unit to get full 3g connection.

I know i can use a dongle etc to also do this (current setup), but want to get back to not having it if possible.

I did a retrofit on a TMo to AT&T UMTS module. The modules are custom and pretty hard to find on their own, unless you buy from the Audi parts department. Your best bet is to just buy a broken 3G+ head unit and pull the module out of that.

How did you deal with new software drivers needed to properly use the new UMTS module? Did you get the Audi conversion kit?

byront8 Hi, Could you tell me please how did you manage UMTS module convertation from US to EU? please? Mine is US market car, i can not use connection at all, mine european sim card is untouchable due to different standards i guess?! Have you replaced it or VCDS in help?
