These tires any good? Ironman iMOVE Gen2

    Hi all,

Traded in my 2012 B8 A4 for a 2014 B8.5 S4 and I'm lovin it! The car is phenomenal and a huge step up from the A4 even in stock form. The car I purchased came with these tires, Ironman iMOVE Gen2 255/35-19, which I've never heard of. Are they any good? The drive feels alright, albeit a little stiff but they have good life left on them, however wanted to get opinions if I should get rid of them for something better or just ride them out.

I am always kinda sketch on any kind of off brand generic tire I have never heard of. but have also bought many used cars that had tires I do not prefer that also had some life in them, if they were tolerable I usually run em down and in a few cases I just had to get rid of them if they performed terribly. I am sure they are safe as long as they are within spec, but not as good as some of the other options of well known brands.

Dont know why some people skimp on tires its a very important often overlooked aspect of any vehicle!

Same here, they look good but just my gut is telling me the car could drive so much better with some reputable tires.

Not sure if same exact tires, but some reviews. I would take always with a grain of salt when reading those but looks like they are discontinued and or the company went out of business...

Do you know if yours are all season tires or a uhp summer tire? since you are in Florida you can run a dedicated uhp summer tire to get max performance, michelin pss or ps4s is typically the gold standard and phenomenal performance.

It's a "performance all-season" tire according to google. Do the michelins have good life?

Depending on your driving habits the Michelins can run down prematurely, they do however honor the mileage rating and will prorate a new set if you have those issues, I run pss on my summer setup and with my lighter wheels and those tires my car rides very well and handles great for how heavy it is. I would def recommend, if money is an issue there are budget tires that are decent, but I dont advise skimping on rubber;)

I only run Michelin Pilot SuperSports 255/35 ZR 19’s on my S4 with Vorsteiner FF103 rims. Best weight reduction rim tire combo available for our cars with high speed rated performance tires.

I shave 11lbs per corner with this setup.
