    CD slot phone mounts...? Bought an iOttie and it blows...

    Sticks out way too far from dash, and interferes with shifter (manual)...

    Anyone know of one that is much more flush vs sticking way out...? 🤔

    I really like the Proclip custom mounts. I have bought 6 of them for my vehicles and kids. I really like how it mounts in the audi however the proclip phone mounts are made for a specific size phone. I have a couple phones I use so I buy the adjustable holder and swivel from http://www2.kudausa.com/

    I use a similar mount in both my A4 and A5. Works great. Super easy to install and use. Love it.

    Proclip calls itself master of the "GAP". All of them have tabs the fit into trim gaps. That combined with a little double stick tape (on some installs). The mounts come with a little guitar pick size wedge tool. You wedge it into the designated trim gap(s) to spread it open, then insert the mount edge into the gap.

    Which did you get for your 5? I assume the one for the lower dash on the right side. The one that mounts by the MMI I think would block view of the MMI.

    Good thread...been looking for a holder that wasn’t magnetic (iPhone X). Just ordered a ProClip and hopeful that it’s as good as it looks.

    Just got the ProClip with the mount that goes on the side. Really well made, looks good, and holds the phone firmly. Very happy and would recommend.

    I think my phone holder is probably the best on the market. I put my phone in my pocket, and it stays there, never distracts me from my driving.
