Ultimate VIN Decoder original window sticker

Just posting this to make it more searchable. This vin decoder will pull up the original window sticker and list all the options the car has as well as the color, standard options and cost. You will need the car's VIN but most online ads have them.

It does go down periodically but another thing to look at is the extensions, if any, running on your browser.

In the past, it's gone down for a few days but always comes back up. I used it for six months straight with no issues.

Those of you who got it to work, what are you using? What browser, and any particular settings that might help?

I notice it's just the Audi one that doesn't work, the other manufacturers are working.

Works on my phone. I do have a bunch of third party extensions enabled including an ad blocker. But I just pulled up a vin on a local RS5 for sale no problem.

I cannot look up my 2011 s5 cab, I believe that they ended the search ability for 2011 and older vehicles. Looking up a 2012 s5 the sticker appears, but a 2011 does not.

I agree with this. This worked for my 2013 Allroad, but received an error while looking up my 2005 Jetta. I didn't try anything in between, but it would make sense that it only goes back a certain amount of time.

damn, not working for me today.....
but i have a pdf copy on my hard drive i was just looking at that came from here a few months ago.....????

so.....today....

when i first tried it with chrome, it gave me an error...

then, when i used internet explorer.... i got a pop up that asks to allow adobe to run.... so i clicked 'allow'....
it worked.

then, when i went back & tried again in chrome, it fricken worked...(with no pop up)......??????

Still not working for me.

I can open the pdf, but it doesn’t open anything. Tried chrome and ie... any options?

Also have all my PR Codes, but does this vin runner include pictures of the mpg and everything?

Yep, includes everything that was on the original window sticker. I just did my own VIN on Safari and it worked.

Ok...so I just did a 2012 and a 2013 S5. Both worked. A 2011 did not. So it must be a year thing as another poster alluded to. I also noticed the 2012 looks different from the 2013 which looks like the original window sticker. This is what they look like;

I guess I am just out of luck.

Another note,I went into the dealer asking for the same monetary sticker. Dealer couldn’t provide me with a proper print out, but they were able to print out options and msrp.

So question then would anyone be able to make a window sticker off of that with pr codes?

This is an awesome tool! Have used in many times while looking to buy a used S5.

But it looks like the application is no longer working? It's just giving an "application error" message now.

It's finicky. I think if you have a lot of browser add-ons, it causes issues. That and things like Java constantly needing updates. I just tried on the big three (on a Mac) and no success...

I've used this to pull up alot of window stickers, it is extremely buggy but it will eventually work. If it gives you errors then keep trying the next day until it works.
