I have a 2006 Audi 8P/A3 and I have had an issue. I have spent a lot of time trying to fix the issue and also had a mechanic that specialized in German vehicles take a look at it. The issue only seems to happen when it is warmer outside (Roughly 70 degrees and up). The warmer it is outside the more often the issue happens. The issue is the car seems to go into a limp mode with check engine light and EPC light. It happens while driving but most of the time it happens after driving it a fair amount and then parking. After the car sits for a bit the car will start but feels like its running on 3 cylinders. If I try to give it gas the car will rev to around 2-3k and then stall. Usually have to wait for the car to sit for 30 minutes till it starts but wont run long. Seems to run fine when its colder outside. I would love any suggestions on what you think it could be.
