I have a 12 a6 c7 and I need help removing the top part of the dash so I can remove the tweeters that are in that position. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Most tweeters in most audis can be removed simply by using a nylon pry tool on the speaker grill to remove the grill, and then a small hex bit to remove the bolts holding them in. The speakers themselves have a small electrical connector you can unclip from them. You shouldn't have to remove the dash.

I could be wrong, as I'm not familiar with your exact model year, but pretty much all the C7s are structured the same for their tweeters, unless you have the B&O option with the motorized tweeters.

If I'm wrong about just using the nylon pry tools (what I've used for my car to replace the tweeters), I'd highly recommend googling Audi Erwin, buy a $35 one day subscription, and download all the shop manuals to your car. You'll find everything you need, including instructions on removing/replacing the dash if it were to come to that.

Thank you. I tried prying the grill up and it seemed as if it was attached to the dash. But I think I will pay the 35.00 and download the manual because I do all the work to the car.

Plenty of pictures of dashboards for sale on eBay. This might help.

Thanks I think the area where the pading is gone is how I need to access the speakers. Now I need to find out how to disassemble that part.

This is from my 2013 S6. Not sure yours is the same but I think it might be?
Custom tweeter and mount shown, but you can see that just the grill is removed to access it.

If you can't fit a nylon pry tool in there, CAREFULLY use a very small flathead screwdriver to pry it out. Looking at the ebay pics of your dash, I'm convinced that you can simply pop the grill out like you can see in Per's photo.

There is a screw on each corner or the long screen trim. Also under the sun sensor there is another one that has to be removed. then pry the whole lot up as its clipped in into the main dash.
