Nope :/ And I decided to go RS SB, and won't have that one until late this year. The coupe is still on order, but I'm 99% waiting for the SB.

I like the RS sportback, more than the coupe. Front end still irks me a bit, but definitely liked the overall look. You'll be happy I'm sure.

On another note, RS6 95% confirmed. Does not have the full clearance yet, but they are almost there. Possible for 2022, definitely not 2020. I asked Scott about the SQ7 and they are planning to bring that here soon as well, just not as a diesel.

I have from an inside source (AoA exec) who noted three weeks ago the RS5 event today that customer orders for the SB will start in July. Can't wait.

Playing around with some color edits based on press images of the Sonoma Green car to see how it might look in a few of the AE colors I'm considering.

My first choice is Merlin Purple over Silver Nappa. My wife is not a fan of "purple". I also love Sepang Blue, and am sort of drawn to Galaxy Blue. If we didn't have a Matador Red SQ5, I'd probably go that route as the Sportback looks stunning in that color.

Maybe the wheels were supposed to be swapped at the last minute and got missed ? They just don't look very clean, especially near the valve stem.

I just noticed that this photo shows carbon fiber mirrors, side sill protector and front spoiler/splitter. I'm wondering if this is a Euro spec car even though Scott Keogh said in his announcement video that the RS5 Sportback goes on sale first in the U.S. The U.S. RS5 Coupe does not have an option for external carbon fiber parts as far as I can tell so it would be cool if the SB does!

Edit: I guess it could be included in the Dynamic Plus package, but the RS5 Coupe order guide makes no mention of the exterior carbon fiber pieces.

I have been wondering the same thing. This car has orange reflectors which are US spec. Reading over the Audi Media Center documents on the sportback it specifically mentions the carbon optic option - "The new Audi RS 5 Sportback can be customized with the Gloss Black, Carbon, and Matte Aluminum optic packages." Really was sad to see the coupe could not be spec'd with it.

Definitely a US-spec vehicle. Look no further than the headlights. ;-)

These were a bit tougher. I'd done Sepang the other day, but it wasn't quite right. And Suzuka is a crazy hard color to digitally replicate because it's grey, it's white, it's sort of pearl yet it's metallic ... and changes depending on light.
