Angry Body Shop NYC area recc

    Hey guys -

Did a search and got some older results so figured I'd ask here. Someone decided to leave me a nice present and backed their car into mine at some point when I was parked. Long story short looks like I'll need to get my quarter panel and bumper replaced and/or fixed. Thought maybe(wishful thinking) I could get a good PDR person to bump it out but they advised likely wont be a good idea.

Any fellow members in the NYC area recommend a good body shop in NYC, LI and/or Brooklyn/Queens area? Going through insurance.

    Body Shop NYC area recc

Flower Hill Auto Body Inc, 12 Middle Neck Rd, Roslyn, NY 11576. It’s a little far but they are an Audi certified body shop (along with certificates from other brands like Tesla and McLaren)

If your going through insurance, i would pick a certified audi shop.
Secondly, check out the shops in person and read reviews. Then see who your comfortable with and how much work and painting their looking to do for your repair.

I would second AFR1485 recommendation of "Flower Hill". They are certified Audi shop and will use factory parts.. Their expensive, but since your going through insurance that doesn't matter. They do great work, honest and will arrange everything from drop off to rental car. I would say check out Flower Hill in person.

Stay away from Mid Island autobody. They are also a certified Audi shop. The work is sloppy, paint matching/overall paint quality and finish is sub-par. If you go though insurance, they will gouge your insurance and take them for as much as they can. Parts they charge insurance for will not be replace and reuse the old parts. If you own your car, I would definitely look else where. Unless it was a lease and you dont care.. Let just say, all the bad reviews on the internet are there for a reason.

Quentin Auto Center in Brooklyn is really good. I've used them a couple of times and send all my friends and family there as well.
