    Hi, all! I have a MK2 RNS-E available. The mkII version of the RNS-E has several improvements over the original, including a high-res LED display, faster processor, traffic monitoring, piano black screen trim, aluminum knobs, etc...

    This RNS-E is in excellent used condition and includes the maps DVD and radio unlock code. As it has an A3 faceplate, this would likely be ideal for someone who already has a mk1 unit and can simply swap the faceplates.

    At bare minimum you'll need the faceplate for the b6.
    Depending on your existing headunit, you may also need an adapter harness, fakra antenna adapter, and a GPS antenna.

    Thank you! I literally haven’t seen the car yet but my buddy was at work when it got delivered and said it had navigation but instead of it being like the unit for sale here, it is one that pops up on the cluster

    You'll find out what it is when you get the car, but you can also turn on the turn by turn navigation in the cluster with the rns-e (unit being sold by OP), just takes some Vagcom shenanigans.

    As noted by Oltean (thanks!), a B6/B7 faceplate is needed for a proper fit. Besides that, it's quite straight forward. Direct plug and play if your car already has mk1 RNS-E. If not, just need an adapter harness and FAKRA GPS antenna which together run about $40.

    Unit one is SOLD to jonan.

    I have one more MK2 unit available, which I'll list here for the sake of convenience. This one is also minty, with no scratches, chips, etc... The only flaw is a tiny mark/indentation on the bottom edge of the A3 faceplate; though hardly noticeable. This one, too, includes the security code and maps DVD.
