Curious if anyone has used this kit https://www.powerstop.com/product/po...&mk=AUDI&mo=S4

And yes I did look and can’t find much info from Audi members. Also if anyone would recommend something else in a similar price range that would be great too. Thank you.

I use PowerStop Z26 pads on my Corvette, and I am happy with them, brake dust went from horrific (Ferodo/Brembo pads) to minimal.....but they are not for track use.
I put Akebono pads on my S4, also to reduce the brake dust, they are good too.

Yeah I looked at the z26 package but they don’t have it for the s4. What rotors did you use with the akebonos?

And how is stopping compared to stock pads?

S4 : Stock rotors with the Akebonos. They have less initial bite than the factory pads, but they are more linear. It take a some getting used-to when you swap, but a few drives and everything seems "normal" again.
Corvette : Stock rotors with PowerStop Z26. Brake feel seems 95% the same to me.

If you want to change your S4 rotors, just buy some Zimmermans. "Upgraded" rotors for street use are not needed.

Yeah that’s what I was afraid of, I like the bite of the stock pads. Is anything compatible?

I've used them on my previous cars. Good price and worked well for my purpose. If this is for daily-driven car, then that should work fine. Paint the rotor hubs if you don't want to see ugly rust.

Or go with their "Cryo" Rotors... They come with the hubs painted black and the entire rotor is Cryo Treated which makes it much more resistant to rust - as well as less effected by pad debris sticking to the rotor and causing brake shudder (many think this is warped rotors)....

I've had these on my DD Subaru for 2 winters now and they look brand new - Partnered with Porterfield R4-S Pads it's the perfect DD Braking setup! (Excellent stopping power & low dust)

Will be putting the same on the S4 once the car is ready for new brakes!

Do you have a link to the ones you mentioned? Interested in checking these out before I make a final decision.

I have those on my MK 6 Golf R. They perform the same as stock, but make way less dust.
