Key fob battery CR1620 or CR2032?

    Hi guys

I have a fob like this for my car:

The last time I changed the batteries, I put in CR1620's because that's what it had in it before from the P.O.

Looking online, it seems that some people put in 2032's, and some people put in 1620's.

The 1620's can move a bit in the case itself, making me think (from looking at the specs of the 2032's online), that the 2032's might be able to fit. Altough the 2032's are quite a bit thicker than the 1620's.

Does anyone know what batteries are suppose to be in these fobs from the factory? And if CR2032's can fit in them?

    Thanks,
    Elliott

original fobs were little guys x2. Ebay junkers and or b6+ 2032
(edit:I'll tell you right off the bat my capacity vs vcc is backwards parallel /series swapped)
old fob 1620 x2 ((3.2v's I thought which is what threw me off))
recently manufactured old style fob 2032 x1
old fob guts in new style 2032 x1

The x2 is only increasing capacity not voltage so two little guys are close in mAh i'd imagine.

Huge size difference that is hard to see completely without digging through my garbage for a 1620 to compare.

16XX is a smaller diameter. 1632 is thicker than the 1620, and 1620 is thicker than the 1616, but they're all the same diameter.
They also make them in 20XX. 2032 is thicker than 2025, and that is thicker than the 2016. So if its a 16XX the 20XX wont fit. My fob had two 1620's in it.
