Unique video and photos: The brand new AUDI A7

Hi guys.

I just spent two days in Norway, with the new A7.
Here is a video and some photos that I'm sure you will enjoy.

I think it’s a stunning evolution of the 7 series, but the question we all want answered is whether there will be a V8 engine in the model lineup?

Yes, that is the question regarding the S for sure that I’m interested in. I’m fairly certain the RS7 will have a V8, but I suspect the S7, disappointedly, will get the RS5 V6.

The only way I would consider the S7 with the V6 is if is legitimately faster than the C7 S7 V8. The caveat to this, though, is that such a scenario would likely only please people like me, who don’t mod. Modders, not so much, as I would imagine the amount of headroom is way less in that V6 than any V8 in terms of reasonably safe and sane modding capabilities. Guess we’ll see soon enough.

I like the interior a lot, but I don’t like the weird vertical front LEDs. It just looks unnatural to me, like it’s trying too hard. I prefer horizontal LEDs and more symmetry.

I also hope the mild hybrid system doesn’t take away the spare tire. I utterly hate run flats and having a spare, even a space-saver spare, is an important consideration for me.

Two things I don’t like. Front grill looks wayyy too big and fake exhaust pipes in the back. Ruins it IMO.

One of the things that has always drawn me to Audi is the exhaust pipes. Even when it was twin singles, I liked it. Now even the S series is missing out on the exhaust tips (SQ5), so don't hold your breath on the S6/S7. I don't undrstand why Audi is giving in to the electric look, when they still have combustion engines. A very bad move if you ask me.
