Examples of tint percentages on your cars (But Ara Blue in particular)

I'm trying to decide on what tint percentage I want to get, show me your examples and list the percentages! I'm going Ara Blue, so that color particularly, but I'll take all examples. Currently thinking of something around 40-50%.

35%, looks a little darker here than it really is because of the dark interior. Look where you can see through to the white S4 behind me. I would go darker if legal in Mass.

They are Alzor 627, 18x8 ET35, from ECS. Think they are discontinued now but I got them on a Black Friday deal 3 years ago for like $400 shipped for the set, which is perfect for winter.

40% Formula One Pinnacle

My first tint job on any car and I was nervous about having it be “too dark,” and ended up just a hair “too light.” If I had it to do over again, I would do 35%.

To the OP. Have you checked your state legal tint percentage limit?


Here are mine with the formula 1 luminar 35% ceramic including the front window(ceramic)

Something about this car maybe how much glass it has in comparison to its size makes tint appear lighter than on other cars. I went 30% on the sides, 20% rear windshield and 60% Front windshield and in my opinion i wish I went a little darker everywhere besides the rear.

Ceramic tint at 15% all but windshield. Ceramic appears lighter than a dyed film at 15%. Also mine is very angle dependent. Same setup and top pic looks pitch black, lower pick you can see in.

I’ve never had an issue with cops and my tint is wayy illegal. Like I said though, when walking straight up to the car you can see in. On most angles, it’s dark as hell.

i got 55% front and am glad i did. makes the rest of the tint from the outside look darker and keeps temps down (lol PNW) on the interior.
