RS6-K04 2.7 turbos with billet wheels.

These are K04-025 and K04-026 housings with RS6 chra’s. They have 42x56MM billet compressor wheels. The turbos have been balanced and come with a 6 month warranty. The are amazing turbos, they spool fast and are reliable. They come from the same factory as SRM turbos and JHM turbos. These turbos are bolt-on to any 2.7 engine.

Price is 1250$, paypal only and they will ship within 5 working days of receiving the order.

They are billet wheels.. They are not polished.. And JHM said they are made in north America and Europe, but they get the cores from china and QC check them before shipping them out.

I did not buy them from Borg Warner personally...they were removed from a Genuine set of Turbos I bought from another member here on AZ for a Stage 3 build. I dont want to mention his name to get him involved but his Rep is stellar as well. After youbexpressed you're issue, I took the time to take pics of my turbo housings bearing the Genuine BW tag 0025 & 0026. I replaced those Chras with a newer set of BW Chras with less mileage in my same BW Housings with No fitment issues making 400+ Whp to this day. My plane jane K04 housings are NOT modified in anyway.

I'm puzzeld as to how or why the used set i sold you "wouldnt fit" into you're housings... whatever housings you say you have. You tried to imply that the Chras were too big... more like an Rs6. Thats totally incorrect and impossible from my perspective... That's when my eyebrows raised...

No where in my listing is it stated that "if these aren't right for you or if you change you're mind etc. feel free to return them". .. they were sold as is & as stated. They had No damage as Stated This was posted in the listing and I spoke to you on the phone reminding you of these things respectfully as well...They are a protection for the Seller.

What you wanted me to do was assume the risk of selling an item of value I know to be functional & genuine... and then accept a cash 'return' from someone that I do not know, on the other side of the country and who could easily swap my item(s) with some other chras he might know to be malfunctioning... effectively getting a working set for free.... there would be no way for me to confirm this, and if there was an issue or a problem with the shipping back and forth of such a delicate item, any and all damages would be my problem.

I'm sorry but I wasn't willing to do that with a stranger for an 'As Is' Sale... a set of Rotors, downpipes...Even DVs... yes. Not CHras.

I'm not saying that this is what you had intended...but there was certainly a risk on my end.

Lastly... if you're so concerned about authenticity & or fitment... Advice...Don't buy USED Chras from essentially an Audi Online Swap meet from someone you don't know, with no proof of genuineness, actual mileage or functionality & then say "it didnt fit"...

Theres an inherent risk we all take with certain High risk items when purchased on AZ classifieds, Craigslist etc.

Otherwise if you don't want to risk having and issue or want the option to return freely as you'd like...

Save up you're money, crack you're 401k, do some overtime...and BUY from Borg Warner directly or a BW dealer for $700+ like everyone else. Thats would be the "Manly" thing to do... not this.

The reason they wouldn't fit into my BW K04-25/26 housings was that they were not RS4 but actually RS6 units and he had a use for them. Had my buddy not stepped in, things would've gone considerably differently. I very easily could've started this up in one of your own sales threads but chose not to. Besides the fitment issues, you did a crap job of packing them and one of the compressor wheels got bent in transit.

I find it comical that you are in this guy's admittedly dubious RS6 CHRA (at least he's listed them as RS6 units) sale thread pontificating on how he should be managing his shit when you are apparently incapable of doing the same. That's the only reason we're having this discussion at all.

So here's how it's going to go down: STFU and I will not start a thread in the main discussion board with complete disclosure of our transaction including the pictures I sent you of the CHRA's size discrepancy with my Borg housings. I guess you're right bro... I'm sorry. I must have gotten mixed up & sold the more valuable Rs6 Chras I had laying around @ a k04 price...I truly hate when that happens, I have so many good Chras here I get confused.

I'm glad things worked out with you're mate... so all is well in the end...seems like they were pretty decent...you know... bad packaging & bent fins and all ...for you're friend to be able use them... I'll be sure to be more careful in the future... I'll be sure to write 'as is' in all Caps instead of lower case to avoid these mix ups

I guess the nice thing to do would be to trust you and accept the return, I'm sorry for not trusting you. I should have gave back the what $200 & resold the Chras for $350 seeing as how they're rs6s...silly me.

However If you want to go on the main forum and blast that I sold you good usable BW rs6 chras instead of k04s for $200 and didn't want to accept a return & then you turned around and sold the 'bad' chras to a friend...ok

If you want to say they were packaged poorly and damaged... then you sold them to you're friend ...ok

Just don't say I'm a cheat or scammer...what you can't deny is I've Sold many things on this forum at fair prices...& have described everything accurately. I've never had an issue with any AZ member ever...This is clearly and isolated incident with 2 sides.

I trust that any experienced AZ member knows how buying and selling to strangers can get messy at times. The best businesses in the world have some sort of complaint against them...both valid & invalid... bottom line anyone selling anything has a right to accept or not accept a cash return based on risk as long as it's stated at the onset of sale....Therefore ...the burden and discretion is on the Buyer to seek whatever means necessary and available based on the type of sale to confirm that the item is as stated and will work for they're particular application. This is especially true with purchases not made in person.. ie; Verify that the Seller even knows what he or she talking about (can honestly be making a mistake), request pictures, serial numbers measurements etc. Some may say I'm wrong... some may say I'm right...

In the end it really doesn't matter...You seemed like a nice guy on the phone, but quickly got upset when you didn't get the response you wanted.. I remained respectful then & now. Seeing as how we don't know each other...Let's leave out the STFU's and the Manhood Attacks out of straight business talk. That's were this post/rant went wrong from the very start.

I know what to do next time I'm selling something sensitive like a CHra to a stranger & you know what to do next time when buying one as well... thank goodness there wasn't a huge amount of money on the table & you were able to move them fairly quickly... so it's over.

Below I've added pics of the Only K04 Turbos I own (yes, I was being sarcastic earlier) . This is when I took them apart, cleaned and replaced with another set of K04 Chras with a bit less millage. The older chras shown are the ones you received in the mail. The other turbo experts like FlyBoy can chime in to say wether they look like rs6 chras stuffed on K04 housings or not. It's impossible that I have Rs6 Units therefore impossible that I sent you Rs6 units...Therefore no return...
