I am fucking done with Audi Hamilton and Audi Center Oakville.
For the most part I do all of my repairs and servicing myself if I can. Sometimes I have to go to the dealership for major repairs.
Our 2011 Q7 TDI has had 3 steering racks (not under warranty), two batteries (not under warranty) and now a $1200 transmission leak (not under warranty). They said the line was kinked. It's beyond me how that could happen since it is above the under-body shield.
Right now it is at the Oakville dealership service department. I took it to them on Monday with the leak. They said they would call me with an estimate of the repair. I called 30 minutes before the service department closed for an update and had to go through their phone system 5 times before someone would answer. You call in and press the buttons to get to service and once there, it rings about 10 times and dumps you back to the main queue. Press 1 for sales and 2 for service etc. I messaged them on their chat program and they said they would see what was wrong with the phones. I tried calling again and finally got through to someone. She said they would have to order a part and it would arrive Tuesday night or Wednesday morning. At that point they would install it. I had to get a rental car and they offered to pay for a day of it.
Today I am waiting for the call to let me know I can come get it. Again... I waited till a half hour before close and no answer. Called in, only to get no answer. Messaged on chat and was told to call in. I called again and finally got through. "I'm sorry... It won't be fixed until Friday". SERIOUSLY???
I have spent a TON of money at this place only to be treated like shit. Every time i go, I leave feeling like this.
Please someone save me. I need a good local mechanic I can trust and that will at the very least keep me in the loop.
