    Rs7 made 621whp on 23psi and a mild 91 octane timing map. To say there is power left on the table is an understatement! Im watching these carefully because i see an s8 in my future... :)

    Coming from the 4.0tt community, we all know that Apr has the quickest and fastest tune for the 4.0tt their stage 1 cars have run 10.3's and stage 2 cars are close to 10.0.

    The upgrading of a turbo is just adding heat to an already over worked charge cooler, I am not referring to the radiator portion but the actual charge cooler, unless that guy was running meth he was heat soaked after the first hit.

    As for a roll race, we all know the rs7 is a terrible roll race car and that the 8spd zf is geared for dig racing more so than roll.

    I think your rs3 is stupid fast and probably the fastest out there right now, but I do think that particular rs7 is not the fastest.

    Personally I think you should come to wpb for the Audi versus the world event that is going to happen at pbir at the end of the month so we can see an iroz car run what it can at sea level in Florida.

    I agree that a basic APR stage 2 RS7 would probably roll with this Big Turbo one. Only thing I am impressed with here is the RS3

    My eyebrows raised when I saw the races(dig and roll). the videos that I seen on the internet put the RS7s with stage 1 or 2 in the 10s easily and traps of low 130s so with that been said I was expecting the big turbos to put insane power on the RS7. Some of the points brought in about the overheating makes sense but you would think a person that spends $130k on s RS7 and another $15000 on a bigger twin turbo set up would figure the tune out.

    The drag strip will tell who is who.

    I don’t know much about the RS7... but I’m pretty sure they run a “hot V” turbo setup where the cylinder heads are reversed and the turbos sit in between the heads. I’m betting that “big turbo” on an RS7 is pretty limited due to packaging constraints. Also, that arrangement, while good for turbo spool and response, can be very challenging to keep cool.

    8V RS3 [email protected] mph (ran a few 11.7s stock and ran 118+mph several times)
    8Y RS3 k&N filter ran [email protected] (ran 11.6 5 times and trapped 120+ several times)
    at 3100ft elevation

    Yes and yes.

    Full brushless pump upgrade, bigger injectors and now running full e85 with ethanol content sensor from innovate

    Slightly TQ limiter intervention to ensure engine is safe, but hauls ass for sure.

    To me it sounds like the trans is bouncing off the rev limiter and not changing fast enough.... did Hank suggest upgrading the clutch packs on the dsg?
    I am sure if you get that sorted out, your times will improve.. and drop into sub 3 seconds for 0-60Mph.

    So what is the deal with the DSG? it sounds in the videos like the clutch packs are fried. Does IROZ have a back up plan? We are all like WOW!!... that is tons of power but now comes the reliability part. Kudos to you for documenting everything on video and for taking the risks.

    I mean I’m driving the car everyday, and wanted to drive her for atleast a week or two and compete in some events and then plan on doing a full review.

    To date I have not had any slipping or issues. Car accelerates like an animal and trans is holding up. We’ll see how she does Saturday night at the Roll Racing event.

    Nice to see I wasn't the only one questioning the whole Big Turbo Rs7 reality / power out put, I mean hell there are stock turbo'd just tunes and exhaust rs7's that are quicker. Regardless of what that or another rs7 can do we look forward in seeing more from your RS3. Go kick some but at the roll races.

    Thanks man, we knew the RS7 video would cause controversy, with both cars being built up and developed believe me it’s not going to be the last time you see that RS7. Big plans from SRM with that car.

    APR is putting the exact same turbos from Sean at SRM on my RS7 right now and tuning. There are some limiting factors beyond cooling impacting my car’s ability to use all those turbos have to give. The inlets between the intake and the turbos are a big one. There will be incremental progress before those hybrid turbos show us all they can deliver.
